Travel to Winterthur is the responsibility of the participant. Note that the required Winterthur Institute workday is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You may wish to participate in optional extended library hours until 9pm on weekdays or other events on weekends from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Winterthur Institute experience is a residential fellowship and includes accommodations in the Visiting Scholars Residence.
Transportation
Winterthur is approximately 45 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and 15 minutes from the Amtrak Station in Wilmington.
Cabs, Ubers, and Lyfts are not readily available near the property and must be pre-arranged.
