During the two weeks of Winterthur Institute, you will refine your skills in identifying the style, materiality, and condition of historic objects. You may also connect with discoverable characteristics of an object given new knowledge of the maker’s or user’s own time. The research project is an opportunity to share what you learned about a chosen object in a 10-minute gallery talk to the cohort.
